Electric bike and electric car rental company in Austria. The client decided to cooperate with us because of our experience in mobile technologies. In addition, Green4Rent was looking for a partner with a portfolio of implementations related to the support of bluetooth devices.
The customer needed a solution that would allow users to easily search, book and rent bikes in a variety of locations. At the time of the development of the application, the project was one of the first projects of its kind.
The customer needed a system that would automatically charge rental fees and allow payment as soon as the rental bike was returned.
The customer wanted users to be able to keep the bike temporarily (e.g. for shopping) without returning it and renting it again.
The company needed a tool to automatically create and export sales reports in XLS/PDF format.
In some locations where the customer wanted to start a business, users might have difficulty opening the bike locks due to the lack of connection to the server.
We have developed an intuitive app that allows you to search, book, rent, park and return your bike with automatic charging.
For the administrator, we have implemented a web application to manage the fleet of bicycles, stations, GPS devices and users. This enabled the company to see all statistical data as well as current data on the condition of the rented bikes, which were provided to the servicemen.
We have created a system that automatically calculates rental costs, taking into account the time of downtime and charging the appropriate rates, and also implemented support for payment cards and online payments.
We have added a temporary stop feature so that the user could stop the bike and resume the rental without having to return it.
Admin can generate monthly sales reports and export them to XLS and PDF files.
We implemented a mechanism for storing redundant tokens on a mobile device, which made it possible to open locks even in places without GSM coverage.
The customer has gained a system that minimizes manual operation of the bicycle fleet.
Users can easily book, rent and pay for bicycles.
The rental works smoothly even in places without GSM coverage.
